The successful candidates require subspecialty certification in General Internal Medicine by the RCPSC (R5 or equivalent), as well as focused training in one of: point of care ultrasound, perioperative medicine, hypertension and/or thrombosis. Academic achievements in medical research or medical education would be an asset. Internal Medicine specialty certification could be considered if there is a clear track record of achievement in research or medical education.
Candidates must be eligible for licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) and have subspecialty certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Preference will be given to individuals who are citizens or permanent residents of Canada.
