The Alberta Children’s Hospital (ACH) is a bright modern, family centered facility that is a cornerstone for quality care and research for the children of Calgary and southern Alberta. ACH is the largest public hospital for sick children in Alberta. ACH was built with family centered care in mind and prides itself on engaging patients and families on a regular basis through a family centered approach to care. The Department of Surgery, Alberta Health Services – Calgary Zone invites applications for a casual Orthodontist at the Alberta Children's Hospital. This position will support the Cleft Lip and Palate Multidisciplinary Team that provides comprehensive care to Cleft Lip and Palate children throughout southern Alberta.

This position is clinical in the form of 2-3 half day clinics per month with the Cleft Lip and Palate Multidisciplinary Care Team to provide comprehensive orthodontic consultation service to Cleft Lip and Palate children within the city of Calgary and southern Alberta.

Required Qualifications: Royal College of Dentists Certification in Orthodontics- RCDS(C). Alberta Dental Association and College- ADA and C Licensure.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working with Cleft Lip and Palate children.

Must read, write and speak English.
