The Department of Surgery, Alberta Health Services – Calgary Zone and the University of Calgary invite applications for the position of Pediatric Otolaryngologist – Head and Neck Surgeon at the Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary, Alberta. Required qualifications include a MD, Fellowship in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology, along with eligibility for licensure in the province of Alberta.

The successful candidate will be expected to have a clinical appointment with the University of Calgary, Cumming School of Medicine, Department of Surgery, and to participate in medical student and resident teaching. In addition, the successful candidate will participate in the Otolaryngology on-call schedule according to both the Alberta Children’s Hospital and Alberta Health Services policies.

The successful candidate will become a member of both the Section of Pediatric Surgery and the Section of Otolaryngology. Committee duties and active participation in the Sections is required.

Applicants must be either Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada. Alberta Health Services and the University of Calgary are committed to employment equity.

The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
