The Section of Hematology, AHS Calgary zone is searching for a candidate to fill the position of Peter Lougheed Centre Site Lead, Hematology. This position carries a 0.2 FTE. Roles and responsibilities of the position include:

· Leading site specific staff meetings
· Supporting, advocating for and managing site hematologists and allied health as indicated
· Attendance at site wide operational meetings
· Representing the Peter Lougheed Centre section staff at hematology section meetings
· Site specific quality improvement
· Advocacy for patients in the Peter Lougheed Centre catchment area

This position will report to the Section Head of Hematology, AHS Calgary zone.

Only current members within the Section of Hematology, AHS Calgary zone are eligible to apply.

The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.

Must read, write and speak English.

Both AMHSP and FFS (fee for service) members within the DOM are encouraged to apply, if qualified. An AHS stipend and a UofC stipend are available if the successful candidate is a FFS member.
