On call duties would also include being available for consultations to GNCH ER and pediatric service calls while on call. The GNCH call group includes 8 general pediatricians. On call would be three to four days per month.
  • Other teaching activities would include in-office teaching of students and residents and teaching of trainees on the pediatric service at the GNCH. Office teaching would be compensated by the EPSC as per established rates.
  • Private office clinical services 3 days per week at the Pediatric Clinic at 9803 – 34 Ave as organized with your private practice clinic colleagues (Dr. Bowman, Dr. Sperka, and Dr. Berry).

The successful candidate must be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta and must be appointed to the Edmonton Zone Medical Staff. The successful candidate will be eligible to be certified by the RCPS of Canada in the specialty of pediatrics.
