The successful applicant will join seven academic pediatric respirologists providing a full spectrum of clinical respiratory medicine services including lung transplantation, asthma, cystic fibrosis, sleep medicine, invasive and non invasive ventilation. In addition to clinical care, the division is active in teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and has a fully accredited Pediatric Respirology subspecialty-training program through the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. There are numerous trainees (undergraduate and postgraduate students, residents and clinical/research fellows) at the Division each academic year. The Division also has an active basic and clinical science research program, collaborating locally, nationally and internationally. This is a part time .0.8 position, and will be comprised of 80% clinical service. Contributions to education at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels are expected.

Interested applicants must hold an MD and must have completed a subspecialty residency in Pediatric Respirology, and be certified or eligible to become a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (Pediatric Respirology). Applicants with additional training or experience in pediatric lung transplant will be prioritized.

Remuneration for this position will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and will be based on the income scale of a competitive and highly successful academic alternate funding plan.
